A stone’s throw from Polzeath Beach

Open for open for lunch, dinner, teas, coffees and plenty of ice cream. The Cracking Crab is a family friendly restaurant where we like to think we have something for everyone.

As our name might suggest, our menu focuses largely on seafood, especially as we’re so lucky to have such wonderful local produce close by. However, we also try to provide something for everyone. So while there’s fish by the bucket load, we also serve juicy West Country steaks off the grill and the bar is always fully stocked with chilled craft beers, ciders and wine. Classic foodie favourites include our fruits de mer and popcorn shrimp in the best of Cornish surf style.

Our clifftop location makes The Cracking Crab a hot spot for a leisurely lunch watching the surf, a resting place for a cup of tea after a walk along the coast path or an awesome place to watch the sun setting over sundowners before supper.
